Parks and Recreation hosting open house July 19

The City of Brighton Parks and Recreation Department is interested in improving its park amenities at Brighton Japanese American Association Park, 1220 Longs Peak, and creating a new public space in downtown, 5 South Main Street. To obtain input from the community, the Department will host an open house Wednesday, July 19, at the Brighton Recreation Center, 555 North 11th Avenue.

The open house will be split into two sessions with the downtown public space beginning at 6 p.m. and the Brighton Japanese American Association Park at 7:30 p.m. The public is encouraged to attend to share thoughts in shaping the future of these Brighton Parks and Recreation opportunities. This will be the second open house to discuss these projects.

For more information about the open house or program, please call 303-655-2124.
