Current Watering Restrictions

Irrigation Season: April 1-October 31

With the irrigation season set to begin in April, the City of Brighton has voluntary water conservation restrictions in place for the irrigation season.

To reduce water waste and encourage efficient irrigation practices, we ask that addresses ending in an even number water only Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, and addresses ending in an odd number water only Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Additionally we ask that no irrigation occur between the hours of 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Irrigation during these hours is prohibited. Irrigation between November 1 and March 31 is prohibited, except hand watering of trees and shrubs if necessary.

Water is a valuable resource that all of us are responsible for protecting. The City of Brighton is responsible for providing our citizens with safe, quality drinking water and to meet the demands of our community, while simultaneously acting to conserve our resources.

Brighton will monitor water conditions during the coming months and will provide periodic updates if necessary. We appreciate the cooperative efforts of our customers as the City continues its efforts to provide a safe and sustainable water supply to our community.
