Backflow Reporting Requirements

Backflow Testing Companies are legally required to turn in passing test reports to the City of Brighton Utilities Department within 10 business days. If a device fails the test, then you need to verbally notify Utilities Department within 24 hours, and send a written notification of a passing testing report within 3 business days. Failed devices need to be repaired or replaced, with a passing test report submitted within 3 business days.
